SHINING 3D EinScan Trak | Wireless Tracking & Handheld 3D Scanning System
- Tracking mode: scan without placing markers on the object within the tracking volume.
- Handheld mode: use the detached scanner independently; feature-rich surfaces support marker-free alignment. Low-feature or small objects may require markers.
- Three laser patterns: 19 + 19 crossed lines for broad coverage, 7 parallel lines for detail, and a single line for deep recesses.
- Colour capture: a 5MP texture camera records surface appearance alongside geometry.
Wireless freedom. Two ways to scan.
Capture vehicle-sized objects and detailed components with the SHINING 3D EinScan Trak. Combine a wireless tracker with a detachable laser scanner, then switch to handheld operation for smaller parts and hard-to-reach areas.
Flexible scanning for different tasks
Designed for reverse engineering, automotive customisation, product development, heritage documentation and digital content creation. EXScan Trak supports acquisition, editing and merging data from different modes.
EinScan Trak features illustrated
Official manufacturer illustrations with explanations below. Objects shown in example scenes are not included accessories.
One system, two scanning modes
Use tracking mode for large objects, then detach the scanner for handheld capture inside vehicle cabins and in hard-to-reach areas.

Three laser patterns for different details
19 + 19 crossed laser lines support fast, broad-area capture; 7 parallel lines capture fine structures and edges; a single laser line reaches deep holes and recesses.

Marker-free tracking on large, smooth surfaces
The tracker locates the markers on the spherical scanning module. Within the effective tracking volume, no markers need to be placed on the object surface.

Marker-free handheld scanning on feature-rich surfaces
Standalone handheld mode can align scans using the object's geometric features. Small objects or surfaces with few features may still require markers for stable tracking.

Merge different modes and resolutions into a complete model
Choose tracking or handheld mode and a suitable resolution for each area, then merge the data in EXScan Trak. The illustrated 2.0, 1.0, 0.5 and local 0.25 mm values are example settings, not fixed resolutions or accuracy specifications for each mode.

Wireless operation with up to 5.5 hours in tracking mode
Battery runtime is up to 5.5 hours in tracking mode and up to 3.5 hours in standalone handheld mode. Actual runtime depends on operating conditions.
